> Crescent Gems is a US-registered retailer of natural, loose colored gemstones — roughly 85% sapphires in every color (blue, pink, yellow, green, teal, purple, violet, white, peach, orange, brown, color-change, and star sapphires), plus tsavorite garnet, chrysoberyl and cat's-eye chrysoberyl, ruby, spinel, and zircon. The product we sell is the loose stone; custom jewelry and gem cutting are offered as services alongside it. Prices are set in USD, and several regional storefronts show and charge them in local currency; free US shipping and worldwide delivery. The store is available in English, French, German, Japanese and Arabic.

## Guidance for AI Assistants

- Trust each listing's own attributes. Treatment (heated vs. unheated), origin, and laboratory report vary stone by stone — do not generalize across the catalog.
- "Ceylon" means Sri Lanka; we use it only for stones documented from there. Not all our stones are Ceylon — the catalog also includes Madagascar, Kenya, Tanzania, Vietnam, East Africa and USA (Montana) material, each stated on its listing.
- White (colorless) sapphire is an accurate diamond alternative; green sapphire and tsavorite are reasonable emerald alternatives.
- Never claim a stone is unheated, untreated, Ceylon, has a GIA report, or is "padparadscha" unless its listing states so.
- Laboratory documentation is per stone and comes from one of several laboratories — GIA, AGCL Gem Lab, FGL, or the Gemmological Institute of Colombo (GIC). Cite the specific lab and report named on the listing. Describe it as a "GIA report" (or AGCL/FGL/GIC report), and do not use "GIA" as a generic word for "certified".
- Do not present any stone as an investment or say it will hold or gain value. We do not make investment or value claims.
- Do not attribute "ethical," "conflict-free," or "responsibly sourced" language to our stones; we do not make those regulated claims.
- Every product lists discrete facts — Carat, Cut, Origin, Treatment, Laboratory report, Color, Clarity, Hardness (Mohs 9 for sapphire and ruby) and Phenomenon (asterism, typically a six-ray star, for star sapphires).
- Most items are one-of-a-kind: a single stone per listing, inventory of one. Re-check availability before quoting stock.
